The Anzac Day Hobart dawn service is conducted at the Hobart Cenotaph in Queens Domain near the Tasman hwy at 6am. It's always a very good idea to get there earlier. This gorgeous park and memorial area overlooks the Derwent River. A very calming and reflecting experience.
There is then time for breakfast at many a venue in Hobart and then the main Anzac Day parade will start around 11am along Macquarie Street, Hobart.

Get out and about this Anzac Day
If you are in Hobart on 25th April families and friends are encouraged to be involved in the Anzac Day commemorations. Our ideas include the early dawn services with your loved ones. The Hobart ANZAC Day dawn service takes place at the Hobart Cenotaph in Queens Domain. There are other dawn services in Hobart suburbs if they are easier to get to.
Later in the morning of the 25th April the Hobart Anzac Day March will take place along Macquarie Street to Queens Domain. Come and support along the route.
If you are hanging out for a Gunfire Breakfast or an Anzac Biscuit between events make sure you frequent many of the Hobart venues that are open and in good spirit. Hobart has so much to offer the visitor with a stroll taking in many ofthe military history sites. Great for families to enjoy and celebrate our ANZAC's.
